Nick is half of our founding team. Having previously worked as a commissioned officer in the Armed Forces, as a business leader in private industry and across several roles in voluntary organisations across the youth sector, he has seen first-hand the positive impact of strong leadership and is committed to supporting both teams and leaders at all levels to work smarter, together.

As a qualified and experienced Summer Mountain Leader, he leads on our outdoor programme which allows teams and leaders alike to use the outdoor environment to bring a fresh perspective to challenges and difficulties that may otherwise seem a road block.

He has a particular interest in coaching and mentoring, especially regarding leadership development. He is a volunteer mentor with the University of Wolverhampton and is currently completing his Post Graduate Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring which will give further depth to our full range of products.

Heather is the second half of our founding team. As a qualified teacher, she has had a first career in education, providing a direct knowledge and experience of the challenges that schools and youth organisations face in building resilience, communication and team work across students of all ages – skills that she believes are as vital for life post education.

Prior to founding Pioneer Leadership Ltd, Heather has worked in a number of management roles in SME’s and well understands the challenges businesses face as they navigate through life post Brexit and pandemic.

She is the company lead on Safeguarding and ensures that our youth sector programmes are integrated with the National Curriculum where relevant.
